Eternal Masters is a 249-card reprint set featuring some of the most sought-after cards in Magic history, some with new artwork. Eternal Masters, like Modern Masters, is designed to be a unique and fun draft experience.
It contains no Reserved List cards, but many Eternal staples. It is intended for more experienced gameplay. Vintage Masters was the inspiration for Eternal Masters, but it includes some Modern-legal cards to support the archetypes. Since Eternal Masters has no run on basic lands, each booster contains 15 playable cards: 10 commons, 3 uncommons, and a rare or mythic rare, plus a foil card of any rarity to replace the basic land that would be in a booster.
Deathrite Shaman, Bloodbraid Elf, and Goblin Charbelcher contributed artwork to the 16-card boosters (the sixteenth card is a marketing card). The set is available in English, Japanese and Simplified Chinese. Distribution is WPN-exclusive and partially allocation-based due to popularity and limited print run.
An Eternal Masters booster contains 15 cards:
10 Commons
3 Uncommons
1 Rare or Mythic
1 Foil card
1 Tip/Token card
Each Eternal Masters is guaranteed to contain a foil card
